FULAZ! We Protest your Parking Meter Rate Increase!
You know the song New Years Day, by U2, and that the first line of that iconic song is All is quiet on New Years Day. This year, however, Chicagoans may be singing; All riot on New Years Day.
Can you believe the balls on these jokers? Laz Parking is going to raise the parking rates 25¢ to 75¢ an hour on New Years Day, and they are going to do it every year. Daley has really sold us up the river and they know it.

I say we fight back, protest this fleecing, this curbside robbery, tell Laz Parking We’re Not Going To Take It! Flood their phones, emails, and faxes let them know you’re outraged at this scheduled increase and the proposed yearly increase. I have made a video that you are free to download and distribute, or embed to your blog or website that i hope will inspire you to take action.
“This Aggression Will Not Stand, Man”
It’s time for some internet warfare, that’s right you can protest and join the fight in your robe and slippers. Flood Laz, Chicago Parking Meters LLC, Mayor Daley, and your Alderman with phone calls, emails, and faxes. Tell them “We’re Not Gonna Take It”! Video after the break
For a list of Laz Contact including top executives seen in my video you can download it here. The naming convention on Laz company emails is @lazparking.com and they seem to do first initial last name but, you can play around with them to find the right one.
You can click on the down arrow on the video to download it.
Come on Chicago FIGHT BACK!!
The Parking Ticket Geek shows us the numbers;

Planned rate increases for 2010 are as follows:
