Is this the Steve Bartman Of the Scooter World?

Although this rider did get way too aggressive on the jump while running the Gymkana at Amerivespa, we can’t say he’s 100% at fault.

Not that those he hit are to blame, but the fact that the Gymkana course was setup with spectating all around it. (Gymkhana which ever way you spell it, it is an obstacle course designed to test scooter agility and stability. Test your Skill in Chicago at Slaughterhouse 15)

Skilled rider or not a jump is a jump and control is hard to achieve in a small area, which should have told this rider to not rocket off it, and just go up one side and down the other.

According to @scooterism the person he hit was not only a Vintage rider (don’t F with the Vintage!) but she’s also a Corazzo employee. “He left the scene quick as he could get away. Lots of people pretty mad about that. She was bruised but okay.”

We are very glad all were not seriously hurt.

So, is this Rider the Steve Bartman of the Scooter World? Or, was the Gymkana course laid out poorly?
