Waiting for the fourth wave of Ska!
Is Ska dead? Can an entire musical genre and it’s cultural influence ever completely vanish? We think not. So where is the fourth wave of Ska, and will it be better than the third?
Let’s face it, although the third wave produced some good music from many great bands like The Toasters (thought to be the first of the wave) , and the Mighty Might Bosstones there were no shortage of bad ones. (mostly in the mid 90’s).
In today’s dam break of over produced American Idol and the now long dead and utter destruction of MTV it’s a wonder any style can be formed with the masses being made ever dumber by tuning in, but it does.
