Report Potholes to 311

today posted a quick story about an increase in potholes from the slight warm up we had over the weekend.
“As of Monday morning, there were about 5,190 open potholes in Chicago, each one representing a complaint call to 311. There were 5,080 potholes in the system Friday morning; there were about 160 new 311 calls for potholes over the weekend, Steele said.
The total count has risen above 5,000 in recent weeks.”
I don’t have to tell you that potholes and scooters don’t mix, so if you see one report it to 311 and hopefully CDOT crews can get to it before your scooter does.
Come Spring I know we will all be excited to be out riding again, just be mindful that these bastards are out there waiting to ruin your day.
