More history through images this time from . This photo by Stan Wayman shows a scooter patrol riding through the tear gas used to disperse anti-war protesters in Washington D.C..
It’s hard to imagine “The Man” on scooters but there it is, in fact, many police agencies still use scooters most notably the NYPD and their Piaggio scooters. The CPD say they use scooters but really they’re just Segways and that don’t count in our book.
