Huggy Bear’s Lambretta

Check out Huggy Bear’s 1957 Lambretta 150 Li Rat. The 1970’s TV show has a special place in my heart, it’s like one of the first shows I can remember.
Not that I was allowed to watch it, but my parents did and I would hide on the stairs just peaking through to the living room and secretly watch. That Gran Tomato was irresistible to a little kid.
Turns out that Starsky & Hutch had a thing for Lambrettas, not only did Huggy Bear have one but, the main theme (4th one) was remade by the Mod Revival band, The Lambrettas. Which can be found on the compilation soundtrack Cult Themes from the 70’s Vol.1 (available on iTunes).
