Twenty-eight years ago today the world lost the first Beatle, it devastated everyone once the news hit that someone actually murdered him. John Lennon was shot outside of his home in New York City on this date in 1980. Across the street in Central Park is the area now known as Strawberry Fields, a place where people gather every year to pay their respects to this one of a kind human being.
