Vans Mod Slip-on cool; But lets talk winter gear
mod slip-on Vans … must have these, originally uploaded by adrienna.
Sure Vans are cool and they’ve been making these great shoes for a long time. However, I’d like to talk about another product they make along with many other companies out there that can be adopted into your all weather Scooter riding gear.
Snowboarding Jackets and outerwear.
I personally wear a Vans 7 Day Snowboarding jacket, it is designed for the cold and the wet and they keep out the wind. They even have liners that extend over the wrist and wrap the thumb to keep everything in place and water out.
Looking around snowboard shops a good tip is to ask if they have any of the last years issues left they are usually marked way down. I got into mine for around $180 and I have been out in the rain many times this fall late (even with a flat) and underneath I was dry and warm.
When I take it off I give it a good shake and all the water beaded up just falls right off. Sure there are many options out there when it comes to these types of jackets, and there are ones specifically designed for motorcycle and scooter riders but I have really been impressed with this option and thought I’d pass it along.
