Scooter Storage—Winter is coming

For those of you needing a place for storing your scooter over the Chicago winter we here at Chicago Scooter Club are working hard to get you the best deals and safest locations.

Personally, I plan on riding as long as I possible can with the help of warm all weather gear like a scooter skirt but, knowing how winters can be here in Chicago storage is a necessity.

The great folks over at Ace Motorcycle and Scooter “Bee” have put together a package for storing and performing proper maintenance for your rides hibernation. Read more for details.

Now, understand that they are currently considering a Chicago Scooter Club rate so the more of us that contact them more room I bet they will have to help us. SO BE SURE TO MENTION CHICAGO SCOOTER CLUB.

Here are the current details and I got to say it comes with a lot of peace of mind knowing they will mechanically be looked after and not just parked in a corner somewhere.

“Hey Eric -
You were on my list of folks to contact today! We just secured the building adjacent to ours (via alley) for 08-09 storage. Folks can arrange to drop their scoots with me on any day that fits their schedule. My mechanics will drain the fuel & pigtail the battery (attach leads that hang free so we may service the battery throughout the winter w/o disturbing the scoot/bike) prior to storage. Fees are listed below…if anyone person has multiple scoots to store I may be able to offer a multi-drop discount. If you have any additional questions, just holler.”

General Storage Information:

• Heated to a comfortable 68 degrees
• Insured, Modern Security System, and Alarmed Brick Building
• Drop-off your Motorcycle or Scooter at your convenience
• Spring Pick-Up Days to fit your schedule

Winter Storage Rates:

• $300.00 pre-pay, 6 months – November through April
• $70.00 per month, pay as you go {$420.00 November through April}
• + Winter Storage Prep

* We drain the fuel
* We periodically check, charge, and maintain your battery

Winter Storage Special:
$500.00 in Labor accrued after November 15th, FREE Storage till the end of April!!!
